Initially upon receiving my results in year 12 for Mathematics and finding out I had achieved a U grade, I was very disappointed. As a result, I decided to redo my A-Level Maths again, giving me an opportunity to start fresh. After beginning my tuition with Mobile Tutors, we had covered all the topics listed in the specification in much greater depth and building my self-confidence back up. Throughout the two years, my maths tutor heavily focused on making sure I fully understood the content and also practising exam technique. Due to my tutor’s calm nature and ability to break down exam questions, I was able to fully grasp difficult topics and achieve very high marks throughout the two years. I could not recommend Mobile Tutors enough! My maths tutor helped me turn maths around in the 2 months before my mocks supporting me as a student and teaching me in a logical and methodical manner. I have never had maths explained to me in a clearer way and as a result I was able to make the transition from being very confused to understanding the mathematical concepts in detail and being able to apply my knowledge to a range of questions. I was worried about failing maths but due to his teaching I was able to achieve a grade 9. I am still in shock from this amazing result, I went from a U to a C in less than a year, even attaining A’s in some of my mock exams. My starting grade was a U, and my final grade is a 4. I was tutored for a Month starting from April. I was struggling a lot in Maths at some point I did want to give up, what I found difficult was the understanding of the methods. I started year 11 with a grade 3/4 struggling with understanding maths. With my exams coming up I found Mobile Tutors in February on Instagram, I contacted them everything was easy to set up and I quickly began to have lessons. My tutor helped me to understand every topic and not only helped me in maths helped me in general also with many questions I had for next year thanks to him I got a 6 in my exams and will be doing a level maths with him. At the start of the year maths was the main subject I was struggling with. I was getting grade 3’s and 4’s and I found it very difficult to understand a lot of the maths content. My tutor lessons began around late October to the end of May and I was able to understand the subject a lot more in that time period. My tutor was very helpful and easy to understand. I was able to understand difficult maths topics a lot more and he also helped me prepare for my maths exams by giving me past papers to practise. Thanks to this support my grades really improved and I was able to achieve a grade 7 at GCSE. I would strongly recommend 👍
I started my English lessons in January after my mock exams. I was working at a grade 4 in literature and a 5 in language. I was not overly pleased with the results and I wanted to improve. My English tutor was very clear and gave me a really good understanding on how to analyse extracts and how to structure my answer. She gave me strong revision tips and I was able to use this advice to prepare for my exams. Thanks to her help I was able to analyse the exam extract a lot better, and I was able to write a good structured answer. I achieved 2 6’s in English at GCSE and I would strongly recommend.

Mobile Tutors has helped me greatly with GCSE maths. On the very first day, my maths tutor came prepared with all the necessary materials and work. His teaching method allows for the most complex topics to come across as easy. He is patient and helps wherever necessary. Mobile Tutors have helped me a lot. I started at a 6 in maths and 6-5 in science. They have helped me to get 8 in maths and 8-7 in science in the end. They have tutored me for around six months which is very little time for them to increase my grades by 2. They helped me by being patient with me even if it took longer than usual to make sure I understand the content being taught. They are very supportive and committed tutors making sure I will flourish in the subjects being taught. Hi, I’m Brian. I’ve had great trouble at maths during A-levels, with all these formulas and how to use them, I just couldn’t understand when are why to use them, and thus my interest in maths slowly started to decline to the point where it was just a burden to me, and I was getting Us and Es in predicted grades, my mother saw this and decided to hire a tutor from Mobile Tutors, he started teaching me, going slowly at first to not shock me with what maths truly was, which was great cause I found it relaxing to do the maths that he set for me, if I ever had questions, he would gladly make up examples to explain to me, I’ve had times where I just couldn’t wrap my head around it and just said I understand, but he would somehow sense I didn’t understand and assure me that it’s fine to not get it, then with great patience kept giving multiple explanations until I finally got it, he has helped me learn how to use tons of formulas and I am confident to say he has helped me greatly for my A-level exams, over 2 years of teaching, he has unexpectedly transformed my predicted grade E into a B. On the scale of 1-10, I would give them a rating of 11 and would highly recommend Mobile Tutors, I am sure they will show great results.

I started off with a grade 4 and achieved a grade 5. I was tutored for about 5 months and found simultaneous equations, trigonometry and quadratic equations the hardest but managed to pick it up really quickly. I did a one-year Maths course for A Level and found it challenging to catch up on the knowledge previously missed from year one. Mobile Tutors helped me to not only catch up on topics from year one but also advance in my second-year material. The English and Maths tuition was amazing and would definitely recommend to others. Both the tutors helped me a lot and this allowed me to gain confidence in both maths and English. For maths and English, I was a predicted a 5 or 6 at most, but thankfully due to this tuition I got a grade 7 in both the subjects. I was tutored for 5 weeks and through the help I received, I got a much higher grade than what I was predicted. In both maths and English, I always found answering exam question hard, even though I knew the content. But through this tuition I was able to gain confidence in answering exam questions well.

I received tutoring from January 2020 to June 2021, and within this time I have seen great improvements in my abilities in both Maths and Science. I initially struggled with understanding Science, and the exam papers for both subjects were something new to me. However, after lessons that helped me comprehend what I was learning in Science, and the constant practice of exam papers provided by my tutor, I managed to go from a 4 to a 7 in Maths and from a 5 to a 6 in Science. I went from a 6/7 in math to an 8 and a 6 in double science to a 7-8. Mobile Tutors helped me with the foundations and math, specifically in algebra, which enabled me to complete the harder questions. In double science we focused on physics, this gave me a better understanding of the specific concepts. I would definitely recommend Mobile Tutors, my tutor was a good guy and a good teacher.

ALIS predicted grade was a B, final grade was an A. I found Mobile Tutors earlier this year and my tutor was extremely helpful with the more difficult topics that were not covered well / in-depth at school. I would highly recommend Mobile Tutors, despite the fact lessons were online due to the pandemic we were covering 5-6 school lessons worth of content is just an hour.

In the beginning I started off with a grade 5 which was alright, but I wanted to push myself and get an even better grade. My grade at the end of the year is a grade 7 which is even better than I hoped for. I was tutored for 4 months and even during the pandemic which was quite a hard time.
I found algebra quite hard in the beginning, but the lessons helped push me to understand what I didn’t before. I found it easy to communicate what I was confident in and what I needed extra help in with the tutor. Even through lockdown I was able to receive help from my tutor. I would definitely recommend to friends as it has been very helpful.

Mobile Tutors has been a tremendous help in my A-level maths journey. To be real with you, if it wasn’t for him I would not have achieved and progressed as well as I would have. My maths tutor fully understands the new specification and as a result, his advice led me to work extremely hard during my time at school, where his resources allowed me to practice what we had learnt while retaining content and how to go about answering exam-style questions. I was tutored for 4 months, and it was incredible how someone could expand my knowledge of maths in such a short amount of time. I was working at a grade 3 but at the end of the four months I was at a grade 5 and I’m sure that if we had more time I would be at a higher grade.
